CHARLES LAUGHTON (1899- 1962 ) Laughton recieved his traning at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. His first American film was The old Dark House 1932, Laughton then got raves for The Devil and the Deap 1932, He then won an Oscar for The Private Life of Henry VIII 1932. My favorite is The Hunchback of Notre Dame. 1939. twards the end or his body of work he and his wife Elsa Lanchester (Bride of Frankenstein) both got Oscar nominations for Witness for the Prosicution 1958. This resin model kit is enhanced to create a very impresive display. THIS IS AMAZING. The cast from LAUGHTON'S face has been sculpturaly enhanced by artist Erick Erickson to faithfully recreate the make up effects in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The head is set forward and cocked, he penetrates you with the stare from his one good eye. Ears, hair and postetics have been added. Laughton's portrail of Quasimodo is the best his range of moods as the character are perpetualy believable. Laughton is the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

The one piece model is a full scale one to one ready to be painted kit. It has been layered up in off white resin to create an amazingly detailed skin. The shell has then been filled with rigid expandable Urethane foam to produce a filled solid that is very durable. The kit measures 7 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches tall. The cast goes to behind the ears and has a flat back.
