Bela Lugosi
(1882-1956). as Ygor from the Son of Frankenstein
(1939). This is a Life Mask originally cast from the face of Bela
Lugosi. as Ygor Lugosi is at his most evil. The creature that held the
Town of Frankenstein in terror because they could not execute an already
executed man. Dead man walking. "No body can mend Ygors neck,, it's al
right KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK."
You can knock on
the sculpture, it sounds just like the film. Amaze your friends. The evil
stare has been captured by artist Erick Erickson. Also the hair, gnarly
teeth and even broken neck have been added to create a very scary presentation.
The mask is signed and numbered by the artist.
Bela Lugosi came
from Hungary in 1921 in 1927 he stared in Dracula on the Broadway stage.
He took his role to Hollywood in 1931. He made a career playing the role
of the Prince of Darkness for the rest of his life. The cast for this mask
was taken for the final special effects scene for the 1943 Columbia Pictures
presentation Return of the Vampire.

IS SIGNED AND NUMBERED BY THE ARTIST.
The finnished piece
is cast in USG's Tuf-Cal gypsum cement, it is fiber filled and has polymer
additves to assure it will last forever.
This sculpture
is finished in Silver Screen Silver rubbed with an antiquing overlay to
bring out the detail. Then sealed to preserve it. Each sculpture comes
with hanging instructions and the screw. This is a full scale 1 to 1 cast.
