PETER LORRE (1904-1964) Unlike other heavies, he was a little man, but his shifty-eyed, understated acting style and striking vocal delivery (a whiny whisper with a middle European accent) more than made up for his size. Lorre is one of a kind.

One of my favorite roles was on the Hitchcock TV series as a mad man opposite Steve McQueen. He would chop off McQueen's finger if his lighter fails during a Bar Bet. This mask is enhanced by sculptor Erick Erickson to create a very impressive display. When we try to do our best Peter Lorre impression, we all try to do the voice and bulge out our eyes. No one had eyes like Peter Lorre. They have been captured in this life mask. Ears, hair, and eyebrows have also been added. EACH BUST IS SIGNED AND NUMBERED BY THE ARTIST. The sculpture is cast in Tuf-Cal a fiber filled Gypsum cement with polymer additives.
This sculpture is finished in Silver Screen Silver, then rubbed with an Antiquing overlay to bring out the detail. It is then sealed to preserve it. This is a full scale 1 to 1 cast.
