Glenn Strange (1899 - 1973
) Born in Weed New Mexico. This Sculpture is made over an actual life mask
make up test cast of Glenn Strange. I studied the stills from the movie
Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein. This film has always been a favorite
of mine. I Erick Erickson sculpturaly added the hair ,eyes, natural ears
, realy good neck bolts . I also thined his neck and sharpend his craigy
skin texture. The classic costume was also added .
Strange played the monster
on film 3 times. First in House of Frankenstein (1944) with Karloff as
the DR. "Not that way ,,, This way." Next was one year later in House of
Dracula. Then in 1949 he stared with Lugosi and Chaney in Abbott and Costello
meet Frankenstein. |

historic cast has been
preserved.
So the work of art you
get has
a direct link to Glenn
Strange.
It's like having him right
there

while I sculpted
to further infuse the spirit
of
Mr. Strange. |
The finnished
piece is cast in USG's Tuf-Cal gypsum cement,
it is fiber
filled and has polymer additves to assure it will last forever.
It measures
12" High X 7.5" Wide X 7" Deep.
It is aproximatly
9 pounds unpacked.
It is finished
in Silver Screen Silver
then rubbed
with an antiquing overlay to bring out the detail.
The piece
is then sealed with a clear coat to preserve the finish.
Each mask
comes with hanging instructions and the screw.
This mask
